The 4th Annual Inspire Conference is scheduled for September 22-24, 2006
University of Southern Mississippi
Polymer Science Building Atrium
The conference will consist of the following:
- talks and posters presented by professors and undergraduate students who have previously participated in research such as the NSF "REU" (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program
- There is no registration fee. Room and board are provided the conference sponsors.
- an informal, professional atmosphere is maintained throughout the conference to encourage interaction between beginning researchers and world class scientists.
- professional development activities- Get the edge in the classroom & the job interview!
- an awards ceremony with prizes to be given to the top three presenters in each category (polymer talks, materials science talks, biomedical science talks and posters as well as comparable prizes in each category for high school participants)
- Internation Inspire Conference- Trip to Turkey
