Polymer Science Learning Center Activities, Demonstrations and Experiments

An in-class and out of class exploration or application of new polymer information and knowledge designed to provide a hands-on experience that increases understanding of the information.

There are three types of demonstrations:

A Gedanken experiment that uses the imagination
An observation demo that someone puts on for an audience to view
A hands-on demo that provides a quick multi-sensory demonstration of a fact or concept

Focused laboratory activities, many inquiry-based, that combine synthesis, analysis and property evaluation.
