Making Glue from Milk

You will need:

2 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup non-fat milk made from non-fat milk powder and hot tap water (follow package directions)
1/4 tsp baking soda
teaspoon for stirring
2-8 oz mugs or cups
funnel
coffee filter or paper towel
paper and popsicle sticks to make paper lollipops
blunt scissors
crayons (optional)

Pour the vinegar into one of the mugs, and stir in the hot milk. Let the mixture sit until the solids are separated from the liquid (about 3 minutes). Carefully pour the liquid from the mixture down the sink drain. Save the solids.
Line the funnel with the coffee filter or a circle of paper towel folded to a cone that will fit the funnel. Put the funnel in the second mug.
Carefully pour the damp solids into the funnel. Pour any liquid that collects in the mug down the sink, but save the solids in the funnel. Wash both mugs.
Scrape the solids from the funnel into one of your clean mugs, and stir in the baking soda and 1 1/2 teaspoons of water. The mixture in the cup is your completed glue!!
