One Injured and Theater Damaged

One person recieved third degree burns in a fire yesterday in one of the town's most historical sites. The Polydelphia Fire Department was quick to respond to a fire call at the Polydelphia Playhouse, a 100 year old theater that has been in the Peckinpaugh family since it was built. Neil Peckinpaugh, the current owner, said that there was severe smoke and water damage to the electric room, where the fire is believed to have originated. Peckinpaugh appeared upset and would not make any further comments.

Paul Lemur, the district fire investigator,was called when firemen identified items at the scene which they believed had been used to feed the fire. There will be more on this story in the next issue of the Polydelphia Times.
