This site was created by Dr. Mark Michalovic, for The Polymer Science Learning Center and the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Dr. Michalovic holds a B.S. in chemistry from Millsaps College (1993) and a Ph.D. in polymer science from the University of Southern Mississippi (1998). He currently is an educational services assistant at the Chemical Heritage Foundation.

Additional information on synthetic rubber was added by Gregory J Brust for The Polymer Science Learning Center and the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Greg recieved his B.S. in polymer science from the University of Southern Misssissippi (1999) and is now a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Southern Misssissippi in a a new program in polymer science education.
