Two-part expoxides are one of the simplest and most widely used synthetic adhesives in the world.

Yes, the diamine part smells some but it will stick almost anything to almost anything else.
The two monomers involved are this diepoxide made from BPA,
and a diamine such as hexamethylenediamine.
BPA is bisphenol-A which has the 3D structure here.
